Palmer takes two wins as Hitech clinches Teams’ Championship

Theo Palmer signed off the 2026 F4 British Championship season in style at Brands Hatch, taking two victories and securing second in the Drivers’ Championship after an exemplary weekend on the Grand Prix circuit.
His performances also helped Hitech clinch the Teams’ Championship for the second time.
Palmer opened the weekend with a commanding four-second, lights-to-flag victory in Race 1 before repeating the feat in the final race of the season. His pace throughout the weekend was exceptional, with the two wins providing a fitting conclusion to a stellar campaign.
Chiara Bättig enjoyed another strong weekend, while Adam Al Azhari and Scott Kin Lindblom also contributed to Hitech’s successful season finale.
Race 1
Theo Palmer started from pole position, with Chiara Bättig fifth, Adam Al Azhari seventh and Scott Kin Lindblom 10th.
Palmer made an excellent start and immediately established control at the front, building his lead while consistently setting the fastest lap. He maintained his advantage throughout the race, managing the gap to the chasing pack and delivering a dominant performance.
Adam made progress through the field to finish fifth, while Scott crossed the line seventh. Chiara finished 10th after a difficult getaway saw her lose five positions at the start.
The result confirmed Hitech as the 2026 British F4 Teams’ Champion with two races remaining.
Race 2
Adam started the reverse grid race from fifth, Chiara eighth, Scott ninth and Theo 12th.
Adam maintained his position in the top five through the opening lap, while Scott ran ninth. Chiara initially dropped to 10th before recovering to eighth, while Theo fell to 14th in the early exchanges.
An incident involving four cars on lap two brought out the Safety Car, with Scott caught up in the collision. He brought his damaged car into the pits, rejoining the race further down the order.
At the restart on lap eight, Theo began his recovery. Showing impressive pace at his favourite circuit, he passed newly crowned champion Van Langendonck on the inside before overtaking Nelson on the following lap. Continuing to make progress from 12th on the grid, Theo climbed to 10th.
Adam maintained a solid pace to finish fifth, with Chiara eighth. Theo completed his recovery in 10th, while Scott finished 24th after his early-race incident.
Race 3
Theo started on pole for the final race of the 2026 season, with Chiara fourth, Scott seventh and Adam eighth.
Theo made another excellent getaway, immediately establishing a clear lead from the line. Behind him, Scott made progress to fifth on the opening lap, with Chiara sixth and Adam ninth.
The Dubai-based driver controlled the race from the front, maintaining his advantage and setting the fastest lap as he looked to end the season on a high.
He claimed another lights-to-flag victory, securing his second win of the Brands Hatch weekend with a 4.4 second lead and sealing second place in the Drivers’ Championship.
Scott finished fifth, with Chiara sixth and Adam eighth, giving Hitech three drivers inside the top eight in the final race of the season.

“It’s been a really good weekend overall. We secured P2 in the championship, and I have to thank the whole team for that. Last year, I would never have expected to be in this position, so it’s really special.”

“This has definitely been my hardest season. The competition has improved so much, and I’ve had to keep improving at every round. We had a really good set-up here at my favourite circuit, and to come away with two wins is fantastic.
