Hitech Announces New Investment and Ownership
As the team marks a decade of racing

Hitech today confirmed that a new investor has taken a shareholding position in Hitech Grand Prix Limited, HiDAT Limited and Hitech Global Holdings Limited.
In the team’s tenth season of racing, the transaction by Mr Liu Guo Cai, marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, accelerating Hitech’s long-term growth and supporting its further expansion into new championships.
Oliver Oakes will continue to lead the operation and remains Team Principal, ensuring continuity in leadership and direction.
Hitech has been at the forefront of single-seater racing since its inception in 2016. With the backing of its new shareholder, Hitech is positioned to broaden its presence on motorsport’s international stage and deliver on its ambitions for the next decade and beyond.
Mr Liu’s main holdings are predominantly in the chemical industry. Mr Liu’s operations in China will be able to provide a focal point for supporting emerging Chinese talent and growing motorsport in the country, with plans for a future Hitech presence in the region in the coming years.
