Hitech heads to the Red Bull Ring this weekend for Round 4 of the 2026 GB3 Championship, looking to continue the positive progress made throughout the opening rounds of the season.
The team arrives in Austria following a challenging but encouraging Hungaroring weekend last time out, where Deagen Fairclough, Jacob Micallef and Felix Fu continued to show strong potential across the three-car line-up.
Deagen heads into the weekend as one of the drivers to watch after securing his first victory of the season at the previous round. The British driver has consistently shown strong pace and will be looking to add to his results at a circuit where close racing and overtaking opportunities are expected.
Jacob will continue his GB3 development at the Red Bull Ring after making an impressive debut in Hungary, while Felix looks to build on the experience gained through the opening rounds of his rookie campaign.
The Red Bull Ring presents a different challenge to the Hungaroring, with its combination of long straights, heavy braking zones and significant elevation changes. The Austrian circuit rewards confidence, precision and strong execution, with qualifying performance and race strategy likely to play important roles throughout the weekend.
The short lap length often creates incredibly close margins, while the layout provides plenty of opportunities for wheel-to-wheel racing, making the Red Bull Ring a favourite among drivers and teams alike.

It’s a circuit where small details can make a big difference, particularly in qualifying, but the opportunities during the races are there. We’re aiming to put together a strong weekend and continue moving forward as a team.”
The Red Bull Ring weekend follows the standard GB3 format, with testing on Thursday and Friday before a two-part qualifying session on Friday afternoon. Races 1 and 2 will take place on Saturday, with the weekend concluding with the top-12 reverse-grid Race 3 on Sunday.
