Round 3 of the 2026 Eurocup-3 season sees Hitech head to the historic Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy, as the team looks to build on a strong start to its debut campaign in the championship.
Hitech arrives in Italy sitting third in the Teams’ standings, following a competitive weekend in Portimão where Keanu Al Azhari secured a podium finish in Race 2 and further valuable points were collected across the line-up.
The team now turns its attention to one of the most iconic circuits on the calendar, with momentum building across all four drivers as the season begins to take shape.
Podium momentum in Portugal
Portimão delivered another step forward in Hitech’s Eurocup-3 campaign, with Keanu Al Azhari’s Race 2 podium highlighting a competitive and composed drive through a heavily interrupted race.
After a strong recovery in Race 1 following a difficult opening phase, Keanu carried that rhythm into Race 2, where he remained firmly in the fight throughout a series of Safety Car interruptions. A decisive move in the closing stages secured P3 and reinforced his position as a key contender in the early championship battle.
Across the rest of the line-up, Santino Panetta, Gino Trappa and Stefan Bostandjiev all continued to gather experience and points in a tightly packed midfield, contributing to Hitech’s consistent presence inside the top ten across the weekend.
A step forward in the standings
With two rounds completed, Hitech sits third in the Teams’ Championship, while Keanu Al Azhari holds second in the Drivers’ standings heading into Imola.
The opening phase of the season has underlined the team’s ability to fight at the front while continuing to develop across a new championship, with flashes of race-winning pace already converted into both victory and podium finishes.
Attention now turns to converting that consistency into sustained results across all four cars as the season builds.
The challenge of Imola
Imola is one of the most technically demanding circuits of the season. Steeped in history and characterised by its flowing rhythm, elevation changes and unforgiving kerbs, the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari leaves little room for error.
Precision through iconic sections such as Acque Minerali and Piratella is essential, while track position is often decisive given the circuit’s limited overtaking opportunities. Tyre management and qualifying performance are expected to play a key role across the weekend.
For drivers and teams alike, Imola is a true test of control, commitment and execution under pressure.
