Keanu claims Portimão podium as Hitech leave with strong points

A P3 finish for Keanu Al Azhari in Race 2 headlines a productive Round 2 of the 2026 Eurocup-3 season at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
Race 1 was defined by a strong recovery drive for Keanu. After a difficult start dropped him down the order, he responded immediately with a strong charge through the midfield, steadily regaining positions in a competitive pack to bring the car home inside the points and turn a difficult start into a solid result.
Behind him, Gino Trappa and Santino Panetta both secured points finishes after competitive runs in a tightly-fought midfield, while Stefan Bostandjiev struggled to progress through the field in what was a heavily interrupted stop-start event.

Race 2 delivered the standout moment of the weekend.
Starting P8, Keanu quickly established himself in the fight, navigating a race repeatedly interrupted by Safety Car periods. Each restart reset the pack, but he remained in contention throughout, positioning himself for when the race opened up.
The key phase came on Lap 11, where he executed decisive moves to break into the podium places before managing the closing stages to secure a superb P3 finish.

Keanu now sits second in the Drivers’ standings, while Hitech is third in the Teams’ battle.
