Homecoming for Havrda as F1 Academy adds a third race to Round 4 in Montréal

F1 ACADEMY has added a third race to the schedule for Round 4 of the 2025 season in Montréal, which will be a home race for Hitech TGR driver Nicole Havrda in the American Express car. The amended schedule will see Free Practice and Qualifying take place on Friday. Two Races will follow on Saturday, with the third and final race taking place on Sunday.

The grid for Race 1 will be established using the final starting grid for Race 2 in Miami. The Wild Card driver for Round 4 will be permitted to start the race from the back of the grid. The top ten classified drivers will receive 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point respectively.
Race 2’s starting grid will be set by reversing the top eight drivers from Qualifying in Montreal. For Race 2, points will be awarded to the top eight classified drivers on a sliding scale of 10 points for the winner, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point for P8.
Each driver’s fastest Qualifying lap will set the grid for Race 3, which will take place on Sunday, with all three races lasting for 30 minutes plus one lap.
Again, the top ten classified drivers will receive 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 points respectively. Two points will be awarded to the driver who is shown on pole position on the final starting grid for Race 3.
One point will be awarded to the driver who achieves the fastest lap in Race 1 and Race 3, provided she classifies in the top ten. Additionally, one point will be awarded to the driver who achieves the fastest lap in Race 2, provided she finishes in the top eight.

Nicole Havrda:
“I’m really excited for Round 4 in Montréal - it’s my home race, and it’ll be my first time racing in this part of Canada, having only raced in Toronto before. I think it’ll be a great event for us, especially with three races this weekend instead of the usual two.”
Nicole added:
“I feel like this track will suit my driving style: it’s fast, packed with chicanes, and rewards clean, consistent laps. Hopefully it doesn’t rain, though that’s always a possibility in Canada. Montreal is an amazing venue, and I’m looking forward to exploring the Old Town – it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Aiva Anagnostiadis:
“I’m really looking forward to Round 4. I think we could improve quite a bit at this round – I’m feeling really positive. It’s going to be interesting to see how quickly we can learn the track with only one Practice session, but it’s such an iconic circuit and I’m really excited about.”
Aiva continued:
“I think the key characteristic of this track is that it’s quite technical, so we’ll need to commit in each corner to keep pace. The weather isn’t looking great, but hopefully it clears up for the weekend. It could be similar circumstances to Miami Qualifying where you’re rolling out and it’s just starting to rain. I’m looking forward to experience the different culture in a part of the world I’ve never been to or raced at.”

Introducing the Round 4 Wild Card driver, Mathilda Paatz:
“It’s the first time for me on a street circuit. It requires a lot of precision and I think that will suit me. With three races here this will be a great opportunity to show my skills and there is a lot that I can take from it – I’m definitely looking forward to it.”
Mathilda continued:
“It’s really nice for me to be a part of this very special Round 4 – I‘ll get a bit more track time and more time to prove myself. Everything is new for me: new team, new championship and new track. The key here will be to keep everything clean but to be on the limit constantly. It’s very tight – very close to the walls. I think it will suit my driving style quite well.”
