Hitech to field five-car British F4 entry at the 2025 Formula 1 British Grand Prix

British F4 - Guest Round

Reigning Wera Tools F4 British Champions and current series leader Hitech TGR will field a bumper five-car entry in the series’ invitational appearance at next month’s 2025 Formula 1 Qatar Airways British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

For Hitech’s Formula 2 and Formula 3 teams, the British Grand Prix is always a much-anticipated home event. Its British F4 squad visits the circuit on two occasions during the season, but racing on this hallowed stage as part of the F1 support bill is an unprecedented opportunity for the team’s junior drivers. They will have the chance to showcase their talent in front of an expected 480,000 fans over the course of the weekend, as well as the F1 teams whose development programmes they aspire to join in the coming seasons.

The appearance at the Silverstone Formula 1 event will be a non-points scoring round for the championship and will consist of two 25-minute plus one-lap races, with track action taking place across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The 17-year-old Red Bull Junior driver from Northern Ireland is currently challenging for the lead in the British F4 Drivers’ Standings in only his first season in car racing, after an impressive start to his single-seater career saw him run away with the Formula Winter Series Rookies Cup at the start of the year.

Leo Robinson

Fresh from his first victory of the British F4 season last weekend at Thruxton, the 16-year-old Anglo-Algerian was crowned the 2025 Formula Winter Series’ Vice-Champion before embarking on his second year in Britain’s premier single-seater series.

Thomas Bearman

The 15-year-old is hot on the heels of older brother, F1 driver Ollie Bearman, having followed a similar career path through karting and now single-seaters. In his debut season he has made repeated visits to the Rookie Cup podium and he achieved his best result of the year last weekend at Thruxton when he joined Leo Robinson on the main podium after a Hitech 1-2.

Xavier Avramides

In his debut season of single-seater racing, the 17-year-old Australian holds third place in the 2025 British F4 Rookie Cup and a series of top-10 finishes have helped Hitech maintain its position at the top of the Teams’ Standings.

Nine Gademan

Hailing from the Netherlands, the former British F4 competitor raced with Hitech in the Formula Winter Series earlier this year, claiming the top female honours after scoring seven Female Trophy victories over nine races. Nina is currently competing in the F1 Academy series.

Dominic Stott, Hitech’s British F4 Team Manager:

“The opportunity for our young British F4 drivers to compete on the support bill of Formula 1 at the British Grand Prix cannot be overstated as a milestone moment in their early single-seater careers.”
“This event will provide an incredible stage for them to showcase their talent in front of hundreds of thousands of fans, and the Formula 1 teams they hope to go on to race for.”

Dominic continued:

“We are delighted to be part of this momentous occasion for the British F4 Championship, and to be providing this opportunity for five extremely talented stars of the future – our four British F4 drivers and Nina Gademan, who raced so successfully for us in the 2025 Formula Winter Series. While there are no points at stake for this event, I am sure they will be looking to shine on the F1 stage and make the most of this very special opportunity.”
