Hitech promotes ROKiT-backed British F4 Champion Deagen Fairclough to GB3

The GB3 Championship is the UK’s leading single-seater category and is aimed at young drivers moving up from FIA Formula 4 championships or Karting, often as a stepping stone to the FIA Formula 3 Championship. The majority of its events are held alongside the British GT and GB4 Championships, forming one of the most prestigious and best supported packages in British motorsport.

Hitech’s record-setting British F4 Champion has stepped up to our GB3 squad for the 2025 season. Deagen was an unstoppable force in his second year of British F4, earning plaudits for his tally of 14 victories, succession of Podium Finishes, Fastest Laps and Pole Positions, and the speed at which his single-seater career has accelerated. He clinched the ROKiT British F4 Championship in the penultimate round with a 222.5-point lead after dominating the 2024 season. In 2022, Deagen was racing at the wheel of a Sim Racing setup at his home in Surrey, UK. He entered, and won, the 2022 edition of the ROKiT Racing Star eSports competition, for which the prize was a fully funded season in British F4 for 2023. Fairclough has not only demonstrated his own enormous potential with his burgeoning collection of silverware, he is also a torchbearer for the next generation, for whom Sim Racing can be a viable pathway into motorsport.

Jin began his formula racing career in the F4 Japanese Championship in 2022 with TGR-DC Racing School, claiming a win and another podium in his debut season. He returned for a second year in 2023 and secured three victories and six further podiums, finishing runner-up in the championship.

In 2024, Jin broadened his experience across multiple series, including a competitive rookie campaign in Super Formula Lights, where he finished 4th overall, as well as appearances in Super GT (GT300) and Super Taikyu, where he claimed two wins in the ST-2 class. He also contested the prestigious Macau Grand Prix.

2025 saw Jin make a strong step into European racing. He competed in both the Formula Regional Middle East Championship, claiming a win and another podium, and the Formula Regional European Championship, where he secured a podium and has consistently scored points, and currently sits in top ten contention in the standings with two rounds remaining. He also gained endurance racing experience in the Le Mans Cup in the LMP3 category.

Jin’s elevation to FIA Formula 3 with Hitech reflects his steady progression across disciplines and continents.
