Fairclough claims double victory and Fu and Le score podiums
Round 7 – Brands Hatch – Report
Hitech enjoyed a strong GB3 Championship weekend at Brands Hatch, with Deagen Fairclough claiming two victories while Felix Fu and Kanato Le both secured podium finishes in the final race of the weekend.
Deagen continued his outstanding second-half form at his home circuit, taking pole position for both opening races and converting both into victories.
The results took him to seven wins for the season, with six of those coming from the last eight races. Hitech has now taken seven victories from the last eight races.
Qualifying
Deagen carried his recent run of form into qualifying, securing pole position for both of the opening races at Brands Hatch.
The double pole gave him the perfect platform for the first two races of the weekend.
Felix qualified 10th for Race 2, while Kanato lined up 11th on his return to GB3 with Hitech.
Race 1
Starting from pole, Deagen made a strong getaway and immediately took control of the race.
The Hitech driver produced a dominant performance around the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, building an impressive advantage over the field.
Deagen crossed the line 14.392 seconds clear of Rehm, with championship leader Bedrin a further 0.972 seconds behind in third.
The margin was the fourth-largest winning margin in GB3 history.
The victory was Deagen’s sixth of the season and fifth from his last seven races, bringing him level with Bedrin for the most wins in the 2026 championship.
Kanato marked his return to GB3 with fourth place.
Race 2
Deagen started from pole and made another strong getaway, taking control before a Safety Car was deployed midway through the opening lap.
He managed the restart confidently and quickly returned to his rhythm, going on to complete a second lights-to-flag victory of the weekend.
The result was his seventh win of the season and sixth from the last eight races.
Deagen Fairclough:
“I’m just so happy. A massive thank you to everyone for all the support. We had a great start and a good launch, and from there I got into a rhythm. I managed the Safety Car restart well and the car was amazing again. Six wins from eight races is pretty special.”
Kanato recovered to ninth after dropping to 12th early on, while Felix finished 11th.
Race 3
The reverse grid put Deagen 12th on the grid, with Felix starting second and Kanato fifth.
Deagen immediately charged through the field, reaching eighth before making an outstanding move down the inside of Paddock Hill Bend to pass Rehm for seventh.
He later passed Gonzalez for sixth, completing a six-place recovery on the road. A post-race penalty for a driver ahead promoted him to fifth in the final classification.
Felix held on to second, while Kanato completed the podium in third to give Hitech a double podium finish.

The final round of the 2026 GB3 Championship will be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 7-8 November with the team looking to carry its recent run of form into the season finale.
