Double podium success in challenging Snetterton weekend

Round 3 – Snetterton – Report

Hitech enjoyed a successful and competitive third round of the 2026 F4 British Championship at Snetterton, securing two podium finishes across the weekend and consistently running at the sharp end of the field in extremely hot conditions at the Norfolk circuit.

Qualifying

Hitech featured strongly throughout an ultra-competitive qualifying session at Snetterton, with all four drivers circulating inside the top ten as the pace intensified during the closing stages.

Adam delivered a strong final push to secure second on the grid, continuing his consistent qualifying form across the opening rounds of the season and securing a front row start for races 1 and 3.

Scott qualified fourth, with Theo fifth, completing a tightly matched group inside the top five. Chiara qualified 19th as she continued to build experience around the high-speed circuit.

 

Race 1

Adam made a clean start from the front row and remained in the leading group through the opening phase of the race, while Scott and Theo both ran closely together inside the top five. Chiara settled into the midfield pack as the field established early positions.

Following an early Safety Car, the race developed into a closely contested battle among the leading group, with multiple position changes throughout. Scott moved into second and maintained the position to the flag, securing a podium finish in Race 1.

Theo ran inside the top five for much of the race before finishing fifth, while Adam remained in contention throughout and finished inside the top six after a competitive run at the front.

Chiara delivered a consistent drive in the midfield.

Race 2

The second race of the weekend began with a Safety Car following an early interruption on lap three, before a series of incidents shaped the running order in the midfield and lead group.

Scott ran consistently inside the top 10 throughout the race and finished sixth at the chequered flag, with Adam completing the race in ninth following a competitive run.

Theo was involved in contact during the race and dropped to the rear of the field before recovering to finish 20th, while Chiara completed the race in 15th after another consistent drive in the midfield.

Race 3

The final race of the weekend got off to a strong start before immediately being red flagged after two laps following multiple incidents and stranded cars, with extreme heat adding to the challenging conditions at Snetterton.

At the time of the stoppage, Scott and Theo were running inside the top five, with Adam in second position after a strong start.

Following the restart, Adam remained in the lead group and continued to apply pressure in the battle at the front, while Scott and Theo ran closely together in a competitive on-track fight inside the top five, both maintaining strong pace in the closing stages.

Chiara continued her recovery drive through the field and moved up into the top 15 as the race developed.

At the chequered flag, Adam secured a podium finish in second place after a strong and consistent run at the front, with Scott finishing fourth and Theo fifth following their closely contested battle. Chiara ended the race in 14th after a strong recovery through the field.

Hitech leave Snetterton with a strong double podium haul, highlighted by second place finishes for Scott Kin Lindblom in Race 1 and Adam Al Azhari in Race 3, in addition to claiming valuable points. All four drivers continue to sit inside the top half of the Drivers’ standings after another competitive weekend, while Hitech edges into an early lead in the Teams’ Cup.
