Eurocup-3 Winter Series heads to Jarama for Round 2

Round 2 – Circuito de Madrid-Jarama – Preview

The 2026 Eurocup-3 Spanish Winter Championship continues this weekend (27 February-1 March 2026) at Jarama, as Hitech heads to Madrid looking to build on a promising opening round at Portimão.

From the sweeping, high-speed nature of the Algarve circuit, the focus now shifts to one of Spain’s most technical venues. Jarama’s narrow layout, elevation changes and flowing sequences demand precision and confidence – and with overtaking opportunities limited, qualifying will play a decisive role.

Leading the charge

Keanu Al Azhari arrives at Round 2 with momentum firmly on his side after a strong start to the campaign. A race win and hat-trick of podium finishes in the opener have placed him at the forefront of the early championship battle, and the objective now is clear: maintain that level of execution.

Strong start across the Hitech line-up

Importantly, it’s not just one Hitech driver carrying confidence into the weekend.

Stefan Bostandjiev showed encouraging pace in Portugal and continues to settle into a strong rhythm within the team. With a full weekend under his belt, Jarama presents an opportunity to convert that speed into a headline result.

Gino Trappa also left the opener with positives to build on. Competitive across sessions and in race conditions, he will be targeting a clean, complete weekend to strengthen his early-season tally.

Meanwhile, Santino Panetta demonstrated clear potential at Portimão. With valuable experience gained in Round 1, he heads to Madrid aiming to take another step forward and challenge further up the order.

All to play for

With only three rounds in the Winter Series, every race carries weight. A strong weekend at Jarama could significantly shape the championship picture heading into the final phase of the campaign.
