Since first taking to the wheel at the tender age of 9, Enaam Ahmed has been setting the track alight, rising to be highly-regarded as one of Britain’s hottest young racing talents.
Following an phenomenal karting career which saw the him clinch five major titles – the CIK World and European Championships, WSK Super Masters, Champions Cup and the Winter Cup, Enaam graduated to single-seaters with impressive success. Making his debut in MSA Formula (now British F4) in 2015, the Brit soon proved to be the talent to watch, as finished his maiden year in car racing as the rookie champion. Further gaining experience in a partial-campaign in the SMP F4 Championship, Enaam more than made his mark with five wins and two pole positions.
Showcasing his supreme racing talent, Enaam continued his success with a move to contest the BRDC British F3 series the following year, collecting one victory and a string of podium finishes. Before sealing another exciting year by claiming the BRDC British F3 Autumn Trophy.
2017 truly proved to be the coming-of-age for the young racer as he was crowned BRDC British F3 champion, following a commanding season, in which he scored a dominant 13 wins. On his way to becoming the youngest ever champion at just 17 years old, his incredible form surpassed the record number of victories, set by none other than Ayrton Senna. In December, Enaam’s ontrack talents saw him awarded BRDC British Club Driver of the Year and shortlisted for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.
With impressive talent and success to his name, Enaam makes the exciting step up to FIA Formula 3 Championship, poised to tackle his first full-length season as part of the Hitech GP squad.
